WHERE IS OUR MONEY GOING TO?

I feel like it’s good information to know where the money you’re donating is going towards. This is a company we’d love to partner up with called Charity Water. They’re doing some amazing things and we just wanna join in our own way. our 10,000 dollars is going towards 2 things, first and most importantly: to dig a well. One well costs $5000.00 dollars, but will provide a source of clean, fresh, drinkable water for 400 people. the other $5000.00 will go towards the expenses for us to send out two of our students to help with the building of this well, as well as serving the communities the well is providing water for.

What does serving the community look like?
I have no clue, but it’s gonna be big, no doubt in my mind. That might mean we might go over there and help restore homes, build shelters, build a school, provide schooling, the possibilities are endless.

So I hope these goals that we have resonate in your hearts, this is something here at Quench that we’re very passionate about, and like charity water, we won’t rest until every person, every person, in the world has a source of fresh, clean and drinkable water.

Update!

So we’ve gotten the green light on having a bake sale at Quincy high!

And the possible promise of 3 more throughout the course of the school year.

Our main goal right now is to find an affordable venue to host our Quench Fundraising Benefit Show on December 10th, so if anyone has anymore information on that please let us know at info@quenchcampaign.org.

We have our Christmas Caroling season coming up so practices for that will start next monday at Leon’s house. If you would like to get involved, again, email us at info@quenchcampaign.org with the subject title “XMAS CAROLING”.

Another event we would like to do this year is “Operation Black Friday”. Where we’ll go out Black Friday Night and hand out coffee and hot chocolate to people waiting in line in the cold. We still need to contact the stores and see if we can ask for donations, if not, it would still be an awesome opportunity to just serve our community.

Pretty soon the snow will start to fall and people will start to have to shovel driveways, so let’s try to think of a creative, and fun way we can serve our communities by shoveling their snow for them. More on this later this month.

We’re going to start selling candy soon, this whole process is being lead by Matt Giovanni and Justin Albaniel, so if you have any input or suggestions regarding the most efficient way to accomplish this task please email us at info@quenchcampaign.org with subject title “CANDY SALES”

If you want any more info on anything at all, or have some input or suggestions for raising some money, please don’t hesitate to email us your ideas, we love to hear from you guys and love the opportunity to network with people who want to be part of this amazing movement.

Keep checking back on this page for more updates on all future events, and projects

Cheers,
The Quench Team
